What pair of headphones would suit me best?

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at 8:01 pm

I currently have dr. dre studio headphones and I must say i am terribly upset with the construction of the headphones. The sound quality also isnt worth the money i payed for them. I am looking for new headphones. Sennheiser HD 595, Sennheiser HD380 PRO and Ultrasone HFi 2400 are getting my attention. All three fall into my price range. I am looking for something with a excellent sound quality, durability and bass. My genres are metal, metalcore, industrial, indie.

He is a small construction company owner. and i just found out he was sold on Obamas commercials for change.. Im so sad. that they take advantege of some people by advertising that way… how will socialism help my fathers small company? tell me how that kind of CHANGE will help him out? after an hour or so conversation the only thing he can say is that the tv says mccain is like bush and he dosent want for us to spend money like that anymore…. he dosent understand the whole picture.. this is frustrating.. he thinks the tax changes wont effect him…

How do i have an adult conversation about politics with my father..when he believes i dont know what im talking about because im only 23.

Dilemma regarding career path in Engineering?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010 at 8:14 am

I am a fresh graduate with no real experience I have been offered two job positions that are completely different and I am kind of confused. The first is as a Sales Electrical engineer, the company has existed for 86 years, they deal in cars, construction, electrical trading and construction, medical installation & trading, industrial construction & trading, etc…You get it the company is huge, they want me to be a Sales Electrical engineer on their product SIEMENS and they are willing to also send me to Germany for training. The other company in ranked 8th in the world in Electrical Design & Consulting. So here is my dilemma the two companies are really big and huge, but the problem is the big gap in salary the one of Sales Electrical Engineer is lower by like 30%,but everybody keeps on telling me that all the money is in Sales Electrical Engineering and the company told me that eventually i will be making more money as a Sales Electrical Engineer rather than an Electrical design engineer,so from the people in the field can you please tell me on the long run where the money is,i mean i find myself equally liking both job descriptions so I want to make my decision based on which path generates more money in the long run…
Thank you
The thing is I am happily willing to do both job descriptions, they both look interesting, both companies are huge,I am leaning towards the Sales Engineer job but is it justified to work for the lower salary,I mean am i crazy to do that, and is it true the there is more money in Sales engineering rather than Design Engineering. Thx

Still very lost in life…?

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 at 3:29 pm

We’ll let me share a quick little briefing.

I’ve been out of high school for over a year, currently 19 right now. Out of high school I was basically had an "in" to a commercial construction company as a laborer to start. We’ll as the economy has been crumbling I’m out of work at the time being. While I was in high school I had ideas of joining the military, but had been seeing this girl, and still am to this day..I don’t think I could do that to her, and our relationship, especially with the idea of still not knowing what I want to do for a living..I know this isn’t a thing some body can really answer, but I need some advice. Should I stay, and hold it out in construction, knowing what’s to come most likely, (Have a broad interest in the subject, but still want to consider other careers)? Or should i go to school to get an associates for something I’m not sure yet..The uncertainty is fairy s***ty, especially because I’m out on my own which means even community college would possibly require some sort of a loan..We’ll thanks for your time and guidance.
In addition, construction itself had been great for the money…hence while it’s lasted, and I’ve accumulated a generous amount of income to coast for a while, but I’ve been struggling with what I want to do…Not what I have to wake up in the mourning to get to go do..I have a general interest in electronics and mechanics…and an interest in law enforcement…but still…Just curious on your thoughts…keep them coming..

My ex-partner has made false claims of my not paying him his share, now i am being investigated by police help

Sunday, May 16th, 2010 at 10:22 pm

My husband left our jointly owned and operated Paint Subcontractor Business, in the middle of a commercial contract upon dicision to divorce. I was forced to take on a Partner to finish contract. After five short weeks of knowing my new Partner, he had caused over ,000.00 in damages, abused our employees(my employees), put my contract in severe jeopardy, refusing to operate in a professional and workmanlike manner. At this point, the General Contractor called for a meeting, to discuss damages taking place, time it was taking to complete, directing me to handle the problem. It was obvious to me, the "problem was my Partner, and his unwillingness to even discuss issues at hand. Upon my attempt to speak with him, he became enraged, caused a enormous scene, police were called to remove him from propery, he stole over ,000.00 of my equipment, and left owing me a total of $00.00 in cash. I’m now facing the police over bogus allegations, of him receiving NO money from me. any advice?

Can I sue company for selling my bulldozer?

Monday, May 10th, 2010 at 7:16 pm

Last year, a local business purchased a bulldozer from me for use in their commercial construction business for 0,000.00. They financed the purchase by paying me ,000.00 down and agreeing to pay the balance in equal monthly installments plus 8.9 % interest over 60 months. In return for my agreement to finance the balance, they gave me a security interest in the bulldozer. I filed a financing statement with the State giving notice to all that I retain a security interest in the bulldozer. Unfortunately, two years after purchasing the bulldozer, the construction company is losing money. In an effort to stay afloat they sold my bulldozer to another contractor for 0,000.00. They have refused to answer collection efforts. Can I sue them. If so for what? And what can my legal theory be.

Monday, April 19th, 2010 at 4:57 am

I am trying to break free from making someone else money and start my own commercial construction company. I have over 20 yrs experience and the once in a lifetime opportunity to secure a government contract if I can find financing to cover the initial start up costs (payroll, material costs, insurance costs).

Square footage in commercial lease not accurate?

Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at 10:33 pm

I’m in the fifth month of a 5 year commercial lease. I am still not open due to my former general contractor’s lack of interest in even attempting to meet the deadline date we set. He’s out of the picture now, and I am pursuing legal action against him.

I am now in the position where I still owe a couple of my sub-contractors some money. I am doing everything humanly possible to get the money together. However, my Landlord is being completley indifferent to the situation I am in. A situation which is due to my former general contractor’s gross misconduct while on the job. I never would have picked him had my landlord’s representative, while negotiating the lease, not emailed me his number and urged me to use him in 3 different emails.

I’m considering trying to get out of the lease. This situation is starting to affect my health. My lease states that the Sq. footage in my space is 1334. It is actually 1300, per my architects plans & measurements. Is this a way out for me?
