ZERO JOBS in August! Construction, Housing, Productivity & Confidence is DOWN!
My views about the government announcing ZERO job growth in August 2011, people on public assistance using Bridge Cards at restaurants, the Canadian economy contracting and more bad news for US housing, consumer confidence and productivity. Did the economic policies of Ronald Reagan condemn America to a slow decline, both economic and politically?
Think about it. He broke the controlers union, with industry was continued doing ever since. And what we have is illegal immagnant laborers increasing filling construction jobs at much lower wages. And also has lead to a wholesale relocation of much of industrial base overseas.
De-regulation was a ‘KEY’ component to his economic plans. We have it now, and what do we have. Increasingly we have foriegn owners of our utilities and ever higher prices, in a more monopolistic business environment than ever.
He has forever pushing tax-cuts. Which meant that vital routine amintainence on critical infastructure was put-off. Now we have undersixed and understrength highways. Water and sewer systems that are falling and need to be replaced in many areas. Undersized railroad network that is also increasingly owned of shore.
His obsection with defeating the ‘Bear in the Woods’ blinded him to the real social and economic problems in Asia and Africa.
His "Great Comunication" skills hid much.
strobe lights for safety in Fl? Legal?
The law says that road maintenance and construction and transportation vehicles and wreckers may have strobes were there is a hazard. My question is… I own and operate a lawn maintenance company in Fl. I have some commercial jobs were I am forced to park on the side of the road (some times very close to busy traffic) Can I put a clear or amber colored strobe light in my truck so it is easier for cars to notice me parked there? Any Info would help. I just don’t think my truck’s hazard lights are doing a great job.
I want to bid on commercial construction jobs?
I have owned a small company that builds retaining walls for about a year. It has been entirely residential jobs, but I have an idea how commercial construction works from past jobs with other companies. I just need some help and advice on how to start putting my company out there to builders and GCs so they can give me a call to bid a job. Any advice would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i´m still not sure what career is better, if it is Industrial Engineering or Arquitecture?, Im not sure studying arquitecture because in the future would it be many jobs or land for construction?
