So I’m not that good at math; but I can study it to get better.

So NOW, I’m thinking about declaring engineering.

I was going to declare broadcast journalism;but what could I do with that degree? & really make money? -I’m still going to do it just as a minor though…..

SO, pick one of these -biomedical, chemical, civil, construction, electrical, Industrial, mechanical ENGINEERING -WHich would you pick & WHY????

Why is there so much racism in the construction industry?

I grew up in a black neighborhood & attended black schools & when I decided to pursue a career in Industrial Safety, I experienced big time culture shock!!

I’ve always heard some black people say they can’t get jobs because they’re being held back by the "man"!!

I thought it was a crappy excuse, but I’ve seen this first hand in the construction industry. It’s filled with so many KKK & AB members it’s ridiculous and if you’re a person of color- not just black but anything other than white, you better not miss a step because they’re itching for reasons to get rid of you.

They only hire people of color because they have to, so from the start they’re looking for ways to get rid of you.

The sad thing is that a lot of these guys don’t really have time to pursue things legally. They just move on to the next job so they can feed their families.

The funny thing is that although these guys claim to hate blacks, they have no problem hitting on black women!

Any thoughts?

I intend to attend an interview shortly. Please advice how to respond positively if the interviewer questions ?

1. What made me to prefer the subject field (Note – I have done my graduation in Bachelor of commerce (No way related to the field I am working now). The field I now work for is Safety- Industrial & Construction).
2.What made me to apply my CV to work for their company?
3.If provided an opportunity to work for their company , what will I do for the betterment of the company?
Please advice point wise.
